Description

## Apache SeaTunnel on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Apache SeaTunnel is a next-generation, high-throughput data integration platform that moves and transforms data between hundreds of sources and sinks in batch and streaming modes. This image is built and maintained by cloudimg on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 LTS base.

### What's included

  • SeaTunnel running on its built-in Zeta engine (master + worker), managed by systemd
  • The Zeta REST API bound to loopback with an interface-agnostic firewall guard
  • Core connector plugins (FakeSource, Console, JDBC, LocalFile) pre-installed
  • A ready-to-run sample job and job state stored on a dedicated managed data disk
  • Automatic security updates enabled

### Getting started

The REST health endpoint (`/overview`) confirms the engine is live. Submit the bundled sample job with `seatunnel.sh --config .conf`, or define your own source-to-sink pipelines. The deployment guide on cloudimg.co.uk covers connector configuration and day-2 operations.
