## Beszel on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg
Beszel is the lightweight, open-source server monitoring platform: a hub with a clean web dashboard plus a tiny agent you drop on each system for CPU, memory, disk, network, temperature and Docker container metrics, with historical charts and configurable alerts. The cloudimg image runs the Beszel hub behind an nginx reverse proxy on port 80, persists its database on a dedicated Azure data disk, and generates unique admin credentials on the first boot of every VM. Backed by 24/7 expert support.
Dedicated Data Disk
The monitoring database and history live on a dedicated, independently resizable Azure data disk mounted at /var/lib/beszel, separate from the OS disk and re-provisioned with every VM.
Secure By Default
The admin credentials are unique per VM and stored in a root-only file; agent connections authenticate by key. nginx fronts the loopback hub so only port 80 is exposed; front it with TLS for production.
