Description

## Budibase on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Budibase is an open-source low-code platform for quickly building internal tools, admin panels, approval apps, and automations connected to your databases, APIs, and spreadsheets. This image is built and maintained by cloudimg on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 LTS base.

### What's included

  • The self-hosted Budibase platform (bundled app, worker, CouchDB, MinIO, and Redis), managed by systemd
  • The Budibase web UI on port 80
  • An administrator account seeded with a unique password on first boot (no shared default, with rotated internal secrets)
  • Application and object data stored on a dedicated managed data disk
  • Automatic security updates enabled

### Getting started

Retrieve the generated admin credentials with `sudo cat /root/budibase-credentials.txt`, then sign in at the VM's public IP to create your first app. Connect data sources, design screens with the visual builder, and add automations. The deployment guide on cloudimg.co.uk covers apps, data sources, and automations.
