## FreshRSS on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
FreshRSS is a fast, self hosted RSS and Atom feed aggregator and reader that you own and control, with no tracking and no third party cloud. Built and maintained by cloudimg on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 LTS base with nginx and PHP 8.3 FPM. A unique per VM administrator password is generated on first boot, and the self contained SQLite database, per user configuration, feed cache and favicons live on a dedicated managed data disk. Sign in with the credentials from /root/freshrss-credentials.txt, then subscribe to feeds and read them in a clean web interface with categories, favourites, full text search, keyboard shortcuts and OPML import and export. The built in Google Reader and Fever compatible APIs let mobile and desktop reader apps sync with your instance. An unauthenticated /healthz endpoint is provided for load balancer probes.
