## Linkwarden on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg
Linkwarden is the collaborative, self-hosted bookmark manager that preserves what you save: every link is archived as a screenshot, a single-file HTML snapshot and a readable text extract, organised into collections with tags, full-text search and team sharing. The cloudimg image runs Linkwarden behind an nginx reverse proxy on port 80 with PostgreSQL, persists the database and archives on dedicated Azure data disks, and generates unique admin credentials on the first boot of every VM. Backed by 24/7 expert support.
Dedicated Data Disks
The PostgreSQL database (/var/lib/postgresql) and the application with its link archives (/opt/linkwarden) live on dedicated, independently resizable Azure data disks, separate from the OS disk and re-provisioned with every VM.
Secure By Default
The admin credentials are unique per VM and stored in a root-only file; public signup is disabled. nginx fronts the loopback app so only port 80 is exposed; front it with TLS for production.
