## Rocket.Chat on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Rocket.Chat is a leading open-source team collaboration platform — real-time chat, channels, direct messages, file sharing, voice/video, and integrations — that you host yourself for complete control over your data and compliance. This image is built and maintained by cloudimg on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 LTS base.

  • Rocket.Chat Community on Node.js, backed by a MongoDB replica set, managed by systemd
  • The Rocket.Chat web UI on port 80 (nginx reverse proxy with WebSocket support)
  • An administrator account seeded with a unique password on first boot (no shared default, registration disabled, setup wizard pre-completed)

### Getting started
