Overview
Apache ActiveMQ is a mature message broker supporting JMS and multiple protocols for reliable asynchronous communication between applications. It provides queues and topics for decoupling producers and consumers.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships ActiveMQ hardened and fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04, preconfigured so the broker is ready on first boot. A unique console credential is generated on first boot with no default login, and the image is backed by 24/7 support.
