Official Stack

The Chatwoot Rails web application, the Sidekiq background workers, PostgreSQL 16 with the pgvector extension and Redis, deployed from the official production Docker Compose stack pinned at build time, all reverse-proxied by nginx on port 80 with the WebSocket upgrade ActionCable realtime needs.

Dedicated Data Disk

The PostgreSQL database, the Redis data and every uploaded file live on a dedicated, independently resizable Azure data disk mounted at /var/lib/chatwoot, separate from the OS disk and re-provisioned with every VM.

Secure First Boot

Every secret is rotated, and a unique super-admin account is created on the first boot of every VM and written to a root-only credentials file. No usable build-time login ships in the image.
