Description

## Coolify on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg

Coolify is an open-source, self-hosted platform-as-a-service that gives you a single dashboard for deploying and managing applications, databases and services on your own server, without per-seat fees or vendor lock-in. Push from a Git repository or a Dockerfile and Coolify builds, deploys and reverse-proxies your app, complete with automatic HTTPS, environment management and one-click databases. This cloudimg image delivers Coolify 4.1.2 fully installed as a Docker Compose stack and run as a systemd service, with its state on a dedicated Azure data disk and a per-VM admin seeded on the first boot of every VM. Backed by 24/7 expert support.

Self-Hosted PaaS

Connect a Git repository or point Coolify at a Dockerfile or Compose file and deploy with a click. Coolify manages the build, the container lifecycle and a Traefik-based reverse proxy with automatic Let's Encrypt certificates. Spin up managed PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis and other databases, manage environment variables and secrets, schedule backups and stream live logs - all from one dashboard.

Complete Stack

The Coolify app, a PostgreSQL 15 database, a Redis 7 cache and a realtime websocket server as a Docker Compose stack, with Docker Engine as the build/deployment runtime. The dashboard is on port 8000; Coolify's built-in Traefik proxy owns ports 80 and 443 to route traffic to the apps you deploy.

Dedicated Data Disk

The entire Coolify state tree (the application database, per-application build state, managed SSH keys and configuration) lives on a dedicated 40 GiB Azure data disk at /data/coolify, independently resizable and re-provisioned with every VM.

Secure First Boot

On the first boot of every VM a one-shot service generates a fresh administrator email and password unique to that instance, seeds them as the Coolify root user, disables open self-registration, and writes the login to a root-only file. The image ships with an empty database and no administrator.
