Debian 13 on 64-bit Arm, the current stable community Linux base, hardened and patched for Arm cloud instances.
Debian 13 (Trixie) is the current stable release of the Debian Linux distribution, with a proven kernel, toolchain and package set from one of the oldest and most widely used community distributions. This is the native 64-bit Arm (AArch64) build, made to run on Arm virtual machines, where the same workloads often cost less to run than on x86 for the same performance. It gives you a stable, minimal foundation for application hosting, container platforms and cloud native workloads on Arm.
This image is a clean, fully patched Debian 13 Arm foundation to build your own services on, with no subscription, no licence key and no default credential.
The cloudimg image is a hardened Debian 13 Arm base with every available security update applied at build time and unattended security updates armed, so instances keep patching themselves. No credential is baked in: access is by the SSH key you choose at launch, and the machine identity and SSH host keys are regenerated uniquely on every instance, so no two machines share a secret. Password login is disabled, root password login is off, AppArmor stays enforcing, and link-local name resolution (LLMNR) is switched off so SSH is the only service listening. A paired deployment guide tested against the exact image is included, and every instance is backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
