Overview

Eclipse RDF4J is a Java framework and server for RDF and linked data. It stores RDF triples and answers SPARQL 1.1 queries and updates over HTTP, and ships a browser workbench for creating repositories, loading data and running queries.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships RDF4J fully patched and preconfigured so the triplestore and its workbench are ready on first boot. RDF4J has no access control of its own, so this image puts an authenticating reverse proxy in front of it and binds the servlet container to loopback, with a unique credential generated per VM and no default login. Backed by 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • RDF and linked data storage
  • SPARQL query endpoints
  • Knowledge graph backends
