Overview
File Browser is an open source, self hosted web file manager. From an ordinary browser it lets you browse, upload, download, edit, preview and share the files in a directory through a clean, fast interface, with scoped user accounts and share links. A single self contained binary with an embedded datastore, it is a lightweight alternative to hosted file managers that you run entirely inside your own network.
Why the cloudimg image
The cloudimg image is hardened and fully patched with File Browser preconfigured behind nginx. Every VM generates a unique administrator password on first boot with no shared default login, keeps its database and files on a dedicated data disk, ships with a paired deployment guide, and is backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
