Overview
Knowage is a full open source business intelligence and analytics suite. It delivers interactive dashboards (cockpits), pixel perfect reports, self service data exploration, charts and data federation across multiple data sources, all from a single self hosted Java web application. Model your data once and let business users explore it through the Knowage workspace, publish cockpits and share analytical documents across your organisation, with full ownership of your data.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers Knowage fully installed and hardened, with the application server and metadata database bound to the loopback interface behind an nginx reverse proxy that terminates TLS using a certificate unique to each instance. Nothing ships with a known login: a fresh administrator password and a fresh metadata database password are generated on the first boot of every instance and written to a root only file, and every well known default account that Knowage ships is rotated or removed before the web interface is ever reachable. The base is fully patched with unattended security updates enabled, systemd keeps every service running with automatic restarts, and each deployment is paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
