Overview

MeshCentral is a self hosted remote management console. You install a small agent, macOS and Linux devices, then remote control, patch and monitor them from a web browser. It suits IT teams and managed service providers running their own remote support infrastructure.

Why the cloudimg image

The cloudimg image runs MeshCentral under Node.js on loopback fronted by nginx with the WebSocket support its console and agent tunnels require, hardened with its database and certificates on a dedicated resizable disk. First boot generates a fresh site administrator account with a unique password and fresh certificates in a root only file, with self signup disabled so no default login ships. Backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
