Mopidy is an extensible music server written in Python. It plays music from your local files and, through its plugin architecture, from online sources, and exposes both an MPD server and an HTTP JSON-RPC API so a wide range of clients can browse, search and control playback. The bundled Iris web player adds a rich browser interface for your library, play queue and now playing.
cloudimg delivers Mopidy hardened and fully patched, with the Iris web player fronted by an authenticating nginx reverse proxy. A unique web password and MPD password are generated on first boot with no default login, every Mopidy frontend is bound to loopback behind the proxy, and 24/7 support is included.
