Overview

openMAINT is an application for property and facility management, built on the CMDBuild platform. It holds the built estate as a model you can navigate, from sites and complexes down through buildings, floors, units and rooms, and it records what is installed in them: electrical, climate control, fire protection, security, sanitation, conveyor and telecommunications systems, down to individual devices and equipment. Around that register sits the work: preventive maintenance plans that generate on a schedule, corrective maintenance raised against a specific asset in a specific room, work orders with checklists and service level agreements, and a portal through which requesters and suppliers reach the maintenance office. Energy meters and their readings, purchase orders, contracts, price lists and budgets are modelled alongside, so the cost of keeping a building running sits next to the building itself.
