Overview
Payara Server is an open source Jakarta EE and MicroProfile application server derived from GlassFish, built for running enterprise Java applications and microservices. It offers clustering, monitoring, and production tuned defaults.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships Payara Server preconfigured on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 LTS base so the admin console and domain are ready at first boot. A unique administrative credential is generated on first boot with no default login, and 24/7 support is included.
