Overview
Privoxy is a non caching web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for enhancing privacy, filtering web page content, managing HTTP cookies, controlling access, and removing ads, banners and other unwanted junk. It sits between a browser and the web and rewrites or blocks requests and responses according to a flexible rule set.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships Privoxy hardened and fully patched, secure by default: the proxy binds to loopback only with a client access list restricted to private networks, so it is never an open relay. First boot records the proxy details and the exact commands to open it to your own subnet, and 24/7 support is included with every image.
