Overview
Snipe-IT is an open source IT asset management system for tracking hardware, software licenses and accessories. It records what your organisation owns, who it is assigned to and when it is due for renewal, with checkin and checkout workflows and reporting.
Why the cloudimg image
The cloudimg image is hardened and fully patched with Snipe-IT, nginx, PHP 8.3 and MariaDB preinstalled, migrations applied and setup complete so there is no manual wizard. A fresh application key, database password and administrator password are generated on first boot and the admin password is stored in a root only file, with 24/7 cloudimg support included.
