SSHPiper is a reverse proxy for SSH. It presents a single SSH entry point and routes each incoming connection to an upstream host based on the login username, using a pluggable router. Acting as a bastion, it centralises access to a fleet of backend servers behind one gateway, with per user mapping and no changes required on the upstream hosts.
cloudimg ships SSHPiper hardened and fully patched, secure by default: the gateway runs as an unprivileged service and the image carries no keys or credentials at all. First boot generates every key uniquely per VM and stands up a working demo pipe so the reverse proxy is provably routing the moment it boots, with a step by step deploy guide and 24/7 support included.
