Overview
ZenphotoCMS is a mature, open source photo gallery and lightweight content management system for publishing and organising images and videos online. Arrange media into a browsable album and subalbum tree, apply themes, tag and categorise, read EXIF and IPTC metadata, enable comments, and manage user accounts with per album access control. Its built in Zenpage CMS adds static pages plus a news and blog section, and a full backend lets you manage everything from one web interface.
It suits photographers, creative studios, clubs and any organisation that wants a self hosted, fully controlled gallery and simple website, with a clean public front end and no per seat SaaS fees.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers ZenphotoCMS 1.6.8 hardened, fully patched and served over HTTPS from the first boot with a certificate minted on your VM. No known default administrator login ships: a unique administrator password and a unique password salt are generated on first boot, the web stack stays down until they exist, the install wizard has been driven and locked, and the database needs no password at all. The image carries upstream security fixes that are not in a release yet and updated editor and file manager libraries, the gallery starts empty for your own photos, and every deployment is paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 support. cloudimg is not affiliated with the ZenphotoCMS project.
