Overview
ZenTao is an open source application lifecycle management platform for software teams, bringing project management, Scrum and Agile boards, product and requirement management, bug and issue tracking, test case management, releases and documents together in one web interface. It is a self hosted alternative to hosted issue trackers, keeping your project data on infrastructure you control.
It suits development teams that want a single place to plan work, run sprints, track bugs and requirements, manage test cases and coordinate releases, without handing that data to a third party service.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers ZenTao fully patched on a hardened Ubuntu 24.04 base, with the install wizard already completed and removed so the platform answers the moment the instance boots. A unique administrator password is generated on first boot and written to a root only file, so there is no default or shared login anywhere in the image, and the application answers on your instance address automatically. The database and the uploaded attachments live on a dedicated data disk kept separate from the operating system disk, and every deployment is paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
