Licensing
No charge applies to the Oracle software; the charges on this listing cover cloudimg's security hardening, secure-by-default configuration, per-instance setup and support. Oracle Instant Client is used under Oracle's Instant Client license terms and the Oracle Database Client under Oracle's license terms for it; you are responsible for complying with them and for licensing any Oracle Database you connect to. The client is installed from Oracle's base release media with no Oracle patch applied: apply Oracle patches with your own Oracle support entitlement. Oracle Database Client 11g Release 2, 12c Release 1, 12c Release 2 and 18c are past Oracle Premier Support and are offered for connecting to legacy databases; use 19c or later for new work.
