Overview

Jellyseerr is a free, open source media request-management application for Jellyfin, Plex and Emby. Users browse and discover movies and TV shows through TheMovieDB, submit requests in a clean modern interface, and see the status of what they have asked for, while administrators review and approve requests, set per user permissions and quotas, and let approved requests fulfil automatically through Sonarr and Radarr. It supports multiple media servers, notification integrations and granular access control, turning ad hoc requests into a managed, self service workflow. It suits any household or team running their own media server that wants members to request content themselves rather than asking an administrator directly.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers Jellyseerr fully installed and hardened behind an nginx reverse proxy that binds the application to loopback, so your request portal answers the moment the instance boots. The image is secure by default: no administrator ships in it, so you bind your own admin at the first run setup wizard by signing in with your own Jellyfin, Plex or Emby account, and a fresh per instance client id and API key are generated on each machine's first boot so no secret is ever shared between instances. systemd manages the service for automatic restarts and clean logging, and every deployment carries a paired deployment guide and 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • Let users request movies and TV for your Jellyfin, Plex or Emby server
  • Approve, track and manage media requests from one self service portal
  • Automate fulfilment of approved requests through Sonarr and Radarr
