Overview

Lucee is an open source CFML engine that runs ColdFusion Markup Language applications on the Java Virtual Machine. It executes .cfm and .cfc code with a fast, lightweight runtime and ships a web based Server Administrator for datasources, mappings, caching, mail and scheduled tasks.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships Lucee hardened and fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, preconfigured so the demo page and the Server Administrator respond on first boot. A unique administrator password is generated on first boot with no default login, and the image is backed by 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • Running CFML applications
  • Migrating ColdFusion workloads
  • Hosting .cfm and .cfc apps
