Memos, the open source self-hosted lightweight note and memo hub, preinstalled for AWS and reverse-proxied with nginx. You create your host account from the secure first-run sign-up form. Backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
## Memos by cloudimg
Memos is a popular open source, self-hosted lightweight note and memo hub - a fast personal knowledge base for capturing quick notes, tasks and thoughts in Markdown, organised with tags and surfaced through a memo timeline and an explore view. This Amazon Machine Image delivers Memos fully installed and configured behind nginx, so a private note hub is running within minutes of launch. The current release available is Memos 0.29.
## Application Stack
The Memos server is a single self-contained Go binary with an embedded SQLite datastore and a bundled web frontend, running under systemd and reverse-proxied by nginx. The server binds to the loopback interface and the data lives on a dedicated, independently-resizable disk.
## Secure By Default
Memos has no default administrator. The image ships at the built-in first-run sign-up form, so the very first time you browse to the instance you create your own host account with your own password. No shared or default credentials, and no database rows, ship in the image.
## Ready To Use
Complete the one-screen sign-up to create your host account, then start writing memos in Markdown, organise them with tags, browse the timeline, share to the explore view and tune workspace settings.
## cloudimg Support
cloudimg provides 24/7 technical support for this image, covering deployment, upgrades, integrations, TLS termination and database administration.
