Overview
NATS is an open source messaging system that provides fast publish and subscribe, request and reply, and streaming communication between distributed services. It is used as a lightweight backbone for microservices and edge messaging.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers NATS 2 preconfigured on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 base so the server is listening straight after boot. The image is maintained with regular patching and backed by 24/7 support.
