## Why Choose This AMI Over Self-Install?
## Key AWS Integration Points
## Common Use Cases
## Requirements and Limitations
This is a connectivity client only - it does not include an Oracle Database server and cannot host data locally. Buyers should have an existing Oracle Database endpoint (on-premises or on AWS) accessible via network connectivity. Oracle licensing for the client is included in the AMI as repackaged software. The AMI supports deployment on general-purpose and compute-optimised EC2 instance families. Configure your security group to permit outbound traffic on port 1521 (or your custom Oracle Net port) to your database server.
