Overview
Apache RocketMQ is a distributed messaging and streaming platform offering reliable, low latency delivery, ordered messaging and transactional messages. It is used for large scale asynchronous communication and event streaming.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships RocketMQ fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04, preconfigured so the broker and name server are ready on first boot. Data is held on a dedicated disk separate from the operating system, and the image is backed by 24/7 support.
