Overview

Docker Registry, the Distribution project, is the reference implementation for storing and distributing container images over a standard API. It is used to run a private registry that hosts and serves images inside your own infrastructure.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers the registry hardened, fully patched and preconfigured so it is ready to accept image pushes and pulls, with image data on a dedicated disk. Backed by 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • Private container registry
  • Internal image distribution
  • CI artifact storage
