Overview
Apache Cassandra is a masterless distributed NoSQL database that scales linearly across nodes with no single point of failure. This image is preconfigured for EC2 with JVM tuning, configured data and commit log directories and monitoring agents.
Why the cloudimg image
The image is hardened and EC2 optimized, with the CloudWatch and Systems Manager agents, enhanced networking and NVMe drivers so a node is ready to join a cluster immediately. Multiple Cassandra and OS versions are available, and cloudimg provides 24/7 support with a defined response commitment covering cluster design, CQL tuning and multi datacenter planning.
