Overview

Apache Zeppelin is a web based notebook for interactive data analytics and collaborative visualisation across its bundled interpreters. Analysts run queries and build rich visualisations directly in the browser.

Why the cloudimg image

Zeppelin is preinstalled as a service on a headless OpenJDK 11 runtime behind an nginx reverse proxy, hardened and ready, with notebooks, configuration and interpreter state on a dedicated resizable data disk that survives instance replacement. Apache Shiro login is enabled and a fresh admin password is generated on first boot into a root only file, with 24/7 cloudimg support.
