Overview

Castopod is a podcast hosting and publishing platform with RSS Podcasting 2.0 feeds, ActivityPub federation and privacy friendly analytics. It lets publishers host, distribute and grow a podcast from their own infrastructure.

Why the cloudimg image

Castopod is preinstalled with nginx, PHP 8.3 and MariaDB and the install wizard already completed, hardened, with no shared content in the image. First boot generates a fresh database schema, MariaDB password, analytics salt and administrator password into a root only file, and 24/7 cloudimg support covers HTTPS, email, S3 storage and federation.
