Overview

Castopod is an open source platform for hosting and publishing podcasts. It serves standards compliant RSS feeds with Podcasting 2.0 tags, hosts multiple podcasts on one instance, federates every podcast to the Fediverse over ActivityPub, and reports privacy friendly per episode analytics, all from one web interface.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers Castopod fully patched on a hardened Ubuntu 24.04 base, preconfigured with the install wizard completed and serving on first boot. A unique administrator credential is generated on first boot with no default login, the database and uploaded podcast media live on a dedicated data disk, and the image ships with a paired deployment guide and 24/7 support.
