Overview

AdventureLog is a travel companion that lets you log the countries and regions you have visited, plan future trips, pin your adventures on an interactive map and store your travel photos. It gives travellers a private, self hosted alternative to commercial trip trackers, backed by PostgreSQL with the PostGIS extension.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships AdventureLog as the official Docker Compose stack on Ubuntu 24.04, hardened and fully patched. Every secret is regenerated per VM and a fresh administrator is created on first boot, the deployment is paired with a step by step guide, and the image is supported 24/7.

Common uses

  • Travel journalling and trip planning
  • Mapping visited countries and regions
  • Private, self hosted travel photo storage
