Overview
Checkmk is an open source monitoring system for tracking the health and performance of hosts, services, networks and applications. It discovers services automatically, collects metrics, evaluates thresholds and raises notifications, with dashboards and views for exploring the state of an environment through a web interface.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships the Checkmk Raw edition (GPL-2.0) fully patched on a hardened Ubuntu 24.04 base, preconfigured as a single site and serving its web interface over HTTPS on first boot. A unique administrator credential is generated on first boot with no default login, and the image is backed by 24/7 support. cloudimg is not affiliated with Checkmk GmbH.
