Overview
ejabberd is a robust, scalable open source XMPP and Jabber server for real time messaging, presence, multi user chat rooms and PubSub. It powers self hosted chat for teams, applications and communities.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg preinstalls ejabberd from the official ProcessOne package with its web admin console fronted by nginx and the WebSocket upgrade its clients need. A unique administrator account is generated on first boot with no default login, its database and certificates sit on a dedicated resizable disk, and 24/7 support is included.
