Overview
Envoy is a high performance open source L7 proxy and communication bus, a CNCF graduated project used for edge and service to service networking. It routes, load balances, observes and secures HTTP, gRPC and TCP traffic.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships Envoy hardened and running as a service with a working sample configuration that reverse proxies to an upstream, so you edit a single bootstrap file to go live. Access logs and runtime content sit on a dedicated resizable disk, with 24/7 support included.
