Overview
Fluentd is an open source unified logging layer and CNCF log collector that collects, parses, filters and routes logs to hundreds of destinations. A large plugin ecosystem extends its inputs and outputs.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg preinstalls Fluentd as a service with a working sample pipeline and the monitor_agent endpoint enabled on loopback. A persistent file buffer on a dedicated resizable disk backs the pipeline against bursts and destination outages, and 24/7 support is included.
