Overview

Gotify is an open source self hosted server for push notifications delivered over a REST API and WebSocket. Applications and scripts send messages that reach your devices in real time.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg preconfigures Gotify with PostgreSQL and an nginx reverse proxy so it is production ready on launch. Every instance generates its own administrator password, database password and session key on first boot with no default login, and 24/7 support is included.

Common uses

  • Application push alerts
  • DevOps notifications
  • IoT event delivery
