Overview
IT Tools is a collection of around 80 handy utilities for developers and people working in IT: token, UUID and hash generators, encoders and decoders, format converters, a crontab helper, network and subnet calculators, JSON and YAML tools and more. Every tool runs entirely in the browser with no data leaving the page, so it suits quick day to day conversions, generating test values, and looking things up without reaching for a mix of ad heavy websites.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers IT Tools hardened, fully patched and secure by default: the app ships with no login of its own, so it is placed behind HTTP Basic Auth at the web server and a unique password is generated on the first boot of every instance and written to a root only file, so no two instances share a credential and the tools are never exposed without a login. The base is kept current with unattended security upgrades, every deployment is paired with a step by step guide, and it is backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
