Overview
Jaeger is an open source distributed tracing platform, a CNCF project, used to monitor and troubleshoot requests across microservices. It collects, stores and visualises spans through the Jaeger Query UI.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg preinstalls Jaeger all in one with OTLP gRPC and HTTP receivers and the embedded Badger storage backend configured. A fresh UI password is generated on first boot with no default login and enforced by nginx HTTP basic authentication, backed by 24/7 support.
