Overview

Marimo is an open source reactive Python notebook where notebooks are pure Python files that run reactively, execute as scripts and diff cleanly in git. It supports interactive UI elements, built in SQL and one click serving of any notebook as a web app. It suits reproducible data science, dashboards and shareable data apps.

Why the cloudimg image

The cloudimg image ships Marimo preinstalled as a system service behind an authenticating nginx proxy on port 80, hardened and ready with a seeded sample notebook. A fresh access token is generated on first boot and stored in a root only file, so no default login ships, and the workspace lives on a dedicated resizable disk. Backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
