Overview

ntfy is an open source, self hosted publish subscribe notification service. You send push notifications to phones and desktops with a simple HTTP request, with topics, subscriptions and access control. It replaces hosted notification services while keeping messages on your own infrastructure.

Why the cloudimg image

The cloudimg image ships ntfy fully installed with an nginx reverse proxy, a SQLite datastore and deny all access control, hardened and ready in minutes. A unique administrator password is generated per instance and stored in a root only file, so no shared or default credentials ship and no message data leaves your environment. Backed by 24/7 cloudimg support for TLS termination, access control and integrations.
