Overview

Gameyfin is an open source, self hosted library manager for your video game collection: the Jellyfin for games. It scans your own game files, enriches them with cover art and metadata, and gives you a fast web library to browse, search, organize into collections and download your titles, with optional OIDC single sign on and a clean administration panel.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships Gameyfin preconfigured on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 base as the official container behind an nginx reverse proxy, backed by an embedded database with no separate service to run. On first boot the image generates a unique application key and a unique administrator account, closing the first visitor setup takeover risk so there is no default login, and 24/7 support is included. The game library ships empty so you add your own titles.

Common uses

  • Self hosted personal game library
  • Browse and organize a game collection with metadata
  • Share a curated game catalog with friends or a team
