Overview

GenieACS is a fast, lightweight open source auto configuration server that implements the TR069 (CWMP) protocol used by internet service providers to remotely manage customer premises equipment. It onboards devices with zero touch, pushes configuration, firmware and parameter changes across a fleet through presets and provisions, and exposes a northbound REST API for integration with OSS and BSS systems.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships GenieACS fully patched and secure by default: a unique management UI admin password, a token signing secret and a database password are all generated on first boot, so no shared login is ever baked into the image. The device database lives on a dedicated, independently resizable data disk, every deployment is paired with a step by step guide, and 24/7 support is included.

Common uses

  • ISP remote provisioning and management of CPE at scale
  • Zero touch onboarding and firmware campaigns across a device fleet
  • A private, API driven TR069 auto configuration server
