Harness Open Source, an all in one self hosted DevOps platform that unites Git hosting, pull requests, CI and CD pipelines and an artifact registry behind a single web UI, ready to host code the moment it boots.
Harness Open Source, formerly Gitness and built by the team behind Drone, is an all in one software delivery platform. It combines Git repository hosting, pull requests and code review, CI and CD pipelines and a built in artifact registry in one service backed by an embedded database, so a team can host code and ship it without running several separate systems.
cloudimg ships Harness Open Source hardened and fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, fronted by a reverse proxy and pointed at the local Docker engine so pipelines can run. Harness makes the first account to register an administrator, so a unique admin password is generated on first boot and open self registration is switched off, leaving no default login. The database is created fresh per instance with no baked users or secrets, and 24/7 support backs the image.
