Nexterm, a browser based server management gateway for SSH, VNC and RDP, ready to reach your servers from one console on first boot.
Nexterm is a self hosted server management platform that gives your team a single browser based console for connecting to servers over SSH, VNC, RDP and Telnet, transferring files with an SFTP manager, and organising everything with organizations, folders and an encrypted credential vault. It also covers server monitoring, reusable command snippets, Docker and Proxmox administration, two factor authentication, passkeys and OIDC and LDAP single sign on, giving teams a private alternative to a patchwork of desktop clients and shared credential spreadsheets.
cloudimg ships Nexterm secure by default with no surviving default secret. The at rest encryption key that protects stored server passwords, SSH keys and passphrases is generated uniquely on the first boot of every instance and never baked into the image, and no administrator account ships: the image boots straight to Nexterm's first run setup so you create your own administrator on first visit, with no shared password or pre seeded database row. The application is published only on the loopback interface behind an nginx reverse proxy that is ready for your TLS certificate, systemd keeps it running, the base is fully patched with unattended security upgrades enabled, and every deployment is paired with a step by step guide and backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
