Overview
OroCommerce is an open source commerce platform built for business to business selling. Its Community Edition pairs a customer facing storefront with a full back office for managing the product catalog, master catalog categories, price lists, inventory statuses, customers and customer users, shopping lists, requests for quote, orders and content pages, and it ships the OroCRM customer relationship tools alongside the commerce features.
It suits manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers moving their trade customers online, teams that need account based buying with per customer catalogs and pricing, and merchants who want a self hosted B2B storefront and order management back office they fully control.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers OroCommerce Community Edition fully installed from the official 7.0 LTS release, with the production front end assets already built, PHP 8.5 behind nginx, a local PostgreSQL 17 database, and the message queue consumer, websocket server and scheduled tasks all running as supervised services. On first boot every instance generates its own administrator password, application secret, database password, OAuth signing keys and HTTPS certificate, writes the credentials to a root only file and sets the store URLs to the instance address, so no default or shared login ships in the image and only HTTPS and SSH are exposed. Every deployment is paired with a step by step guide and 24/7 support.
