Overview
Osclass is an open source classified ads platform for running your own online marketplace. Visitors browse and search listings by category, location and keyword; registered members post ads with photos, edit them and reply to enquiries; and an administration panel gives you full control over the category tree, listing moderation, member accounts, static pages, e-mail templates and the site theme.
It suits community noticeboards, niche marketplaces, local buy and sell sites, property or vehicle listings, jobs boards and internal staff exchanges, giving you a self hosted marketplace you own outright with no per listing fees and no third party holding your data.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers Osclass hardened, fully patched and preconfigured so the marketplace is live the moment it boots. No known default administrator login ships: a unique administrator password is generated on first boot, the database schema and category tree are already installed, and the web installer is bound to the loopback interface so it can never be reached from the network. Every site and admin link follows the address you actually browse to, so the image works on a bare IP or your own domain with nothing to rewrite. Listing photos and downloaded add ons live on a dedicated data volume, and every deployment is paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 support. cloudimg is not affiliated with the Osclass project.
